Sparky says, “Pray for your Missionary!”

We are excited that you are memorizing God’s Word. Be sure you understand each verse that you read and memorize. Ask someone to explain those verses you do not understand. God will Bless you when you OBEY His Word.
Mr. Frakes’ favorite verse:
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Mrs. Frakes’ favorite verse:
John 10:28-29 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

T&T Missionary Letter
Dear Awana Clubbers,
We will try to answer all your questions and then some in this letter. (Book One page 141, Book Two page 110)
We work as Awana Missionaries in Northwest Washington. Our responsibilities are to help churches start Awana Clubs and help the churches that already have Awana to improve. We have been doing Awana as a full time job, for the Lord since 2001.

We organize your AwanaGames competition and Bible Quizzing especially for you clubbers to participate in. We also help leaders, directors and pastors by having Conferences and Training Seminars. Some of our time is also spent training other Missionaries from other countries like Ecuador. Awana HQ in Streamwood, of course, must approve our trips to foreign countries. Before we could go to these countries we had to get visas and a passport. And yes sometimes even shots to prevent getting illnesses that they have in those countries, which we do not have here.
Here are several qualifications for being sent out as a Missionary:
- You must be saved and know it. Phil 1:6, John10: 27-29
- You must be called by God to be a Missionary, as Paul and Barnabus were, Acts13: 2.
- You must know your Bible well. Proverbs 9:9, 11:30, I Timothy 4:13
- You must have a good testimony before family, friends, neighbors and even those who dislike you. Phil.2: 10,11 and II Timothy2: 15
- YOU MUST HAVE A SERVANT’S SPIRIT.
- You must be concerned about those who don’t know Jesus.
- As Awana Missionaries, we must also have Organizational and Administrative skills; with a servant’s spirit, we must lead others. I Corinthians 14:40as Savior. II Peter 3:9
As missionaries there are two most rewarding parts of the ministry. Seeing both children and adults come to know Jesus as Savior and equally as rewarding is to have Clubbers growing up to become leaders and Campers returning as counselors at camp and Leaders growing in service to the Lord even becoming Pastors.
A typical day for us includes …
The greatest disappointment in ministry is …
Weekends we participate in…
Please pray for us in all of these areas as we serve the Lord and the Churches.
God bless you as you memorize and study His Word.
Your Awana Missionaries,
Brion & Connie Frakes
